Austin Kolache & Koffee Shoppe (AKA “The Kolache Shoppe”) has been serving Austinites authentic Czech Kolache’s for more than 40 years. Kolache lover, next-door neighbor and long-time customer, Debra Ford, recently has taken ownership in March of 2019. Debra has introduced new renovations, updated equipment and a new team of experienced and passionate chefs.

EXECUTIVE SOUS CHEF
Meet Luis Mendoza. After spending eight years in the Navy, Luis shared his passion for food as Sous Chef at Mexican, Italian and American restaurants for almost 10 years. Originally from El Paso, Texas, Luis comes to Austin Kolache & Koffee with plentiful experience in food, discipline and care. Outside of being the Sous Chef, Luis loves to spend time with his family.
